I'm Ashley a Washington, D.C. resident who grew up in Montgomery County, Maryland.  I attended the University of Maryland University College and graduated with a degree in Human Resource Management. To pay my way through college, I worked in retail for Macy's, BeBe, and Saks Fifth Avenue. I had a serious passion for fashion but after years of being overworked and underpaid, I switched gears and decided to sell houses instead of clothes. I began working in new home sales selling some of Maryland's most luxurious homes. After graduation, I pursued a career in Human Resources where I continue to work in recruiting.

 

 In 2017, I missed working in fashion and retail so much that I started Leather And Lavender Boutique, a styling service for personal shopping, photoshoots, and special events. I launched Beauty Inside Out during the global pandemic in March of 2020 as a way to connect with old and new clients who not only want to look good but also want to feel good. Healthy eating has always been a part of my lifestyle so I decided to create the Beauty Inside Out blog where I can share my recipes, style tips, reviews, lifestyle blogging, and introduce my health and wellness products to my online store.

When I'm not blogging, I enjoy wining and dining and trying new restaurants. Traveling to places with beautiful scenery. And getting outside and simply enjoying nature while spending time with my friends and family.
